  • Exotic Carts Website Scam

Be aware that http://www.exoticcartshop.com is a scam website. “Mr. Boris Charles” will be glad to take your money via only online pay services (first clue). You will then get an email from “Global Delivery Services Inc” – very nice website, but company does not exist. They will send you an invoice that your order is being held at “customs” (second clue) and ask for “refundable insurance” equal to about 150% of the purchase order (third clue). When you get their invoice, you will notice that the English grammar is really bad (fourth clue). Why can’t they simply hire ONE freakin’ American to write their invoices and emails in proper English? Really bad Russo-English grammar will then inform you that you have been ripped off. There is no website for the company Exotic Carts.

Yeah, it's a shame that scammers do that, because then there's no way to get back at them for scamming you, the only thing you can really do is warn others about it.

One thing to always make sure of is don't use things like Zelle that are completely non refundable

Are you sure this information is relevant in 2021, or am I worrying in vain?

You have to make sure that all your financial transactions go through a secure channel. You can open an online bank account with your credit card and use it for buying things online, but you shouldn't use it to sell illegal drugs. It's better to buy from a known and reputable vendor who takes payment through secure online channels. When in doubt, use cash or a credit card with a low limit, perhaps $500 or $1,000. And make sure it's a secure channel for your money. I always use platforms that have integrated https://covery.ai/products/device-fingerprinting. In this way, my money and data are safe.
